Camp Cinnamon Farms

10/27/24. This is our 2nd stay at this property and without a doubt our favorite. State forest next to property, small lake with good fishing, canoe and kayaks to use, wide open sky, and beautiful scenery all within 20 minutes of Watkins Glen. The camp has a wood burning stove that keeps the place toasty, very toasty! This is pretty much primitive camping as there is no electricity, no running water, and no wifi (including cell service which I love). There is solar lighting indoors and on porch. Porta potty out back. If your looking for an escape from the hectic life, this is it. Quiet and peaceful! We will be back time and time again! I am local and live 15 minutes away. I was looking for a place of solitude and an escape from the real world. I had zero interaction with another human and that's what I was looking for. I was super lucky, Oct 30th and it was warm 80 in the day and 60 at night. the sky was so dark and clear. stars were amazing. I had wood and peace it was perfect!

We’ve stayed at James’s property quite a few times now, and we are just so happy we came across this cabin last year! It’s the perfect mix of camping and vacation. With Corning and Watkins Glen less than 15 minutes away, you are never bored! Wildlife is everywhere, and getting back in touch with nature becomes easy. Thank you James!

My husband and I absolutely love this spot. And so does the dog. We have gone for a week every year for the past 4 years and are definitely continuing. It's so tranquil and peaceful, has wonderful views and lake access. We are on or in the lake every day! Very clean and swimmable, we do not fish, but always see others doing so. Area is very secluded and private. If you are looking for an off-the-grid vacation to unplug and relax, Jame's place is the best!

Our family played hooky and spent a night at this beautiful cabin. Our family had an amazing time walking the lush green property and watching the beavers and goslings swimming in the lake. We fell asleep easily to the sounds of frogs after playing board games by the wood burning stove. My kids already asked when we can go back and i am with them! James was a wondeerful host and the cabin really was a beautiful slice of nature. I highly recommend to anyone looking to make core memories with their children.

We loved our stay. It was a beautiful piece of property that felt peaceful and secluded. Amazing little lake to fish on. Only 20 minutes from some great restaurants at Watkins Glen. Cabin was clean and we enjoyed using the wood burning stove when it got chilly.

A stunning property and wonderfully private. My husband and our two dogs spent a peaceful weekend, swimming in the lake, fishing and using the provided canoe. The cabin is nicely secluded from the other cabins on the property and has a gorgeous view of the lake as well as the fields. We caught sun fish, small mouth bass, large mouth bass and pickerel from the lake. The cabin itself is well crafted with a comfortable front porch. There is a port a potty near by which was clean and convenient. Thank you James for the fantastic stay!

A great place to get away! The lake was so peaceful. The yard was well kept, we had a relaxing time fishing! It’s primitive, but for folks who like peace and quiet it’s great. The little lake is so nice.
